Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 24, 2026
Herrera Bautista PC ("the firm," "we," "us") operates hblawtx.com. This policy explains what information this website collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It applies to this website only — not to information the firm collects in the course of representing a client, which is governed by the attorney-client privilege and the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct.
Information we collect
Information you give us
The consultation request form on our contact page is hosted and processed by CaseClimb, a third-party client-intake provider. Whatever you enter in that form — typically your name, contact details, the type of matter, and a description of your situation — is submitted to CaseClimb and delivered into the firm's account there. CaseClimb processes that information on our behalf and under its own privacy terms. If you call or email us instead, we receive whatever information you choose to share.
Please do not send confidential details before we have confirmed that we can represent you. Submitting the form does not create an attorney-client relationship — see our disclaimer.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, this one records standard technical information when you visit: IP address, browser type and version, device type, referring page, the pages you view, and the time and duration of your visit. This information is used in aggregate to understand how the site is used and to keep it working properly.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic and understand which pages are useful. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes usage data on our behalf; it may also collect approximate location derived from IP address. We do not use this data to identify individual visitors.
- You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. The site will continue to work.
- Google offers a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics measurement across all sites.
- Most browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no industry-standard response to it, and this site does not currently respond to it.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry and schedule a consultation
- To run a conflicts check before the firm can consider representing you
- To provide legal services if you become a client
- To operate, secure, maintain and improve the website
- To comply with legal, regulatory and professional-responsibility obligations
We do not sell your information
Herrera Bautista PC does not sell, rent or trade personal information submitted through this website. We do not share it with advertisers or lead-generation brokers.
When information is shared
Information may be shared only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers. Vendors that host the site, receive and route consultation requests (CaseClimb), or provide analytics — each acting on our instructions and only for those purposes.
- Legal requirements. Where disclosure is required by law, subpoena, court order, or the rules governing attorneys in Texas.
- With your consent. For example, if you ask us to publish your feedback as a testimonial.
Data retention
Consultation requests are retained in the firm's intake system for as long as needed to respond, to run conflicts checks, and to meet the firm's record-keeping obligations. Analytics data is retained according to the retention period configured in Google Analytics.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS and we take reasonable measures to protect information submitted through it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, however, and email in particular should not be treated as a confidential channel.
Children's privacy
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices
- You can decline to submit the contact form and call instead.
- You can block cookies or opt out of Google Analytics.
- You can ask us to delete the information you submitted through the form, subject to any record-keeping obligations that apply if we have represented you.
Third-party links and embeds
This site links to and embeds third-party resources, including the CaseClimb consultation form, Google Maps and court websites. Those services load in your browser, may set their own cookies, and have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the website or applicable law changes. The revised version will be posted here with an updated date.
